SkyNano was awarded a $50K Phase I AFWERX SBIR contract to find a product-demand fit within the Department of the Air Force throughout the short 12-week period of performance.
SkyNano will focus on identifying Air Force customers in operational capacities who’s technical devices and components can be improved from the performance-enhancing properties of SkyNano’s carbon nanotubes. SkyNano will initially focus our efforts on identifying battery customers within the Air Force and Space Force, based on our demonstrated traction towards the use of CNT materials as performance-enhancing additives in advanced batteries.
